Call for Participants for the International Mission to Helsinki 2026

i4KIDS, the Paediatric Innovation Hub, is pleased to announce the launch of an exclusive call for its members to join the i4KIDS International Mission on Paediatric Innovation 2026, taking place from 16 to 19 September 2026.
This initiative is designed to foster international collaboration and strengthen connections between the i4KIDS ecosystem and one of Europe’s most dynamic environments in paediatric and maternal health innovation: Helsinki, Finland.
Connecting innovation ecosystems across Europe
Through this mission, i4KIDS aims to provide selected participants with a unique opportunity to engage directly with leading healthcare institutions, innovation stakeholders and international investors within the Finnish ecosystem.
Helsinki stands out as a benchmark in paediatric healthcare innovation, offering an ideal setting to explore new collaboration opportunities, exchange knowledge and accelerate the development of impactful solutions in maternal and child health.
An exclusive opportunity for i4KIDS members
Up to four members of the i4KIDS network will be selected to take part in this mission. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain first-hand insight into leading institutions such as HUS Children’s Hospital
- Meet key organisations, including The New Children’s Hospital Foundation
- Attend the 2nd Paediatric Investment Forum and the Paediatric Innovation Day 2026
- Engage with international experts, innovators and investors
This experience is designed to maximise visibility, facilitate meaningful connections and contribute to the international positioning of i4KIDS projects and members.
Financial support
i4KIDS will cover the main expenses related to participation in the mission, including:
- Return flights between Barcelona and Helsinki
- Accommodation for three nights (16–18 September, breakfast included)
- Airport transfers in Helsinki
- Daily allowances (subject to reimbursement conditions)
Who can apply
This call is open exclusively to members of the i4KIDS network who demonstrate:
- A strong commitment to paediatric and maternal health innovation
- Projects with clear impact and innovation potential
- Interest in international collaboration and ecosystem engagement
Participants will be selected based on their alignment with the mission objectives, the potential contribution to the i4KIDS ecosystem, and the quality and impact of their projects.

Applications must be submitted by 5 July 2026 at 23:59 CET via the official application form.
