Paediatric Investment Forum 2026

i4KIDS, together with CoMB MedAngels Investor Network, The Child Lens and Montana Children’s, has launched the call for startups to participate in the 2nd Paediatric Investment Forum, which will take place on 17 September 2026 in Helsinki, Finland. The Forum will be hosted by HUS and the New Children’s Hospital Foundation and aims to connect early‑stage paediatric and maternal health innovators with mission‑aligned investors from across Europe.

The Paediatric Investment Forum is consolidating its position as a key European meeting point for investment, innovation and impact in child and maternal health, following the success of its first edition. The initiative seeks to support the growth of promising startups developing solutions that respond to unmet clinical needs and improve health outcomes for children and families. Together with the Paediatric Innovation Day on 18 September, the Forum will turn Helsinki into the European capital of paediatric innovation, bringing together investment, talent and impact over two consecutive days.

A European platform for paediatric and maternal health innovation

The Forum is designed to showcase high‑potential startups seeking pre‑seed or seed investment and to facilitate meaningful connections with investors specialised in health, impact and paediatric innovation. Selected companies will have the opportunity to pitch their projects to a curated group of investors during the in‑person event in Helsinki.

By bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, hospitals and innovation stakeholders, the Paediatric Investment Forum contributes to strengthening the European paediatric innovation ecosystem and accelerating the translation of novel solutions into clinical practice.
