Paediatric Investment Forum 2025
The Forum connects seed-stage start-ups in paediatric and maternal health with mission-aligned investors to strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem. From all applications, up to six finalists will be selected to pitch to Med Angels, Montana, and other specialised venture capital firms.
The Forum will take place on 19 November 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tech Barcelona – Pier 07 (Via Laietana, 26, Ciutat Vella, 08003 Barcelona, Spain).

To complete registration, Participating Companies must fill in the online form and upload the required project documentation together with the signed Legal Terms (download here: Bases 1st Pediatric_Forum)
This call is open to:
- Legally incorporated companies (or projects that are at most 6 months from its establishment as a company) seeking seed funding for their project.
- Projects under development in paediatric and/or maternal health.
- Companies with a registered office in Europe or a subsidiary’s HQ in Europe.
- Projects developed in countries within the EEA, the Council of Europe, or the EU—including the UK and Switzerland—are eligible.
Applications will be excluded if they:
- are not in the field of paediatrics and/or maternal health
- harm the environment or local surroundings
- have a corporate object contrary to the corporate object or code of ethics of one of the Organisers,
- are not seeking funding

Evaluation of applications: Late September / Early October 2025
- A selection committee (“Evaluation Committee”), consisting of two expert members from each of the Organisers and one member from a Collaborating Entity, will select the Finalist Companies. During the selection process (early October 2025), the Evaluation Committee may contact Participating Companies for interviews, clarifications, or additional project information.
Announcement of selected projects: First half of October 2025
- Results will be communicated to Participating Companies during the first half of October 2025. Finalists will present their project (8–10 minutes pitch) to investors at the Forum. A panel of investors may ask questions, and other investors or attendees may also be present as observers.
Presentation of selected projects at the Forum: 19 November 2025 (afternoon, 5–8 pm)
- Finalist Companies must commit to pitching in person in Barcelona on the Forum date (unless force majeure justifies an online pitch).

– Adequately publicise the call and Forum details through official channels and other media. FSJD will disseminate information through the usual i4KIDS network channels.
– Guarantee accessibility to the necessary information about the Forum, including legal terms, requirements, and deadlines.
– Validate the documentation submitted by companies and verify compliance with the requirements set forth in these legal terms.
– Communicate, within the indicated deadlines, the results of the selection process to both selected and non-selected companies.

The Med Angels del CoMB Network Membership Terms specify that if a Finalist Company secures investment through the Med Angels del CoMB Network within 24 months of introduction to investors, the Network will be entitled to fees equivalent to 4% (plus VAT) of private funds obtained, with a minimum of €2,000 (plus VAT).
Therefore, all Participating Companies to the 1st PAEDIATRIC AND MATERNAL HEALTH INVESTMENT FORUM must accept these LEGAL TERMS, but only Finalists must accept the Med Angels del CoMB Membership Terms to present at the Forum (When informed that they have been selected by the organisers). Upon request, complete Membership Terms can be provided. The most relevant clause—the fees—has already been expressly included in these Legal Terms. For this reason, it is not considered that there is any impediment for the Finalist Companies to accept the Legal Terms, since they will have already been informed of this condition. Appropriate technical and organisational measures will be applied to ensure data security and prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or loss, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Data will be retained only as long as necessary and to fulfil legal obligations.
Liability
The Organisers are not responsible for the decisions of investors regarding Participating Companies, nor for any future agreements between companies and investors. The Organisers are exempt from any liability arising from such decisions.
Submitting the application implies full acceptance of these legal terms, which constitute the only agreement between Organisers and Participating Companies.
