Bringing Paediatric Innovation to the Airwaves: i4KIDS Concludes Its First Season on RNE's Cuídate

Over the past few months, i4KIDS has participated in the Cuídate programme on Radio Nacional de España (RNE) through a monthly section dedicated to paediatric and fetal health innovation. As this first season of collaboration comes to an end, we look back on nine programmes that have helped bring some of the projects, advances and challenges transforming healthcare for children, adolescents and pregnant women closer to the public.
Throughout these episodes, researchers, healthcare professionals and representatives of innovative initiatives have shared their expertise, showcasing new solutions aimed at improving diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for paediatric patients and their families.

The topics covered during this first season included:
• Rare diseases and precision medicine: the ÚNICAS project and the challenges associated with rare diseases, featuring Dr Antonio Martínez, Head of the Medical Genetics Department at Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Children’s Hospital.
