Open call for participation in the i4KIDS 2024 International Mission to Riga on innovation in fetal, paediatric and maternal health for i4KIDS members.

Would you like to get to know the paediatric ecosystem of Latvia’s capital, Riga?

i4KIDS launches the call for the International Mission 2024 that will take place in Riga, from 25 to 28 September, a unique opportunity to create synergies and networks with other professionals in the sector of innovation in foetal, paediatric and maternal health and to attend the Pediatric Innovation Day, a benchmark event for the sector.

This mission is aimed exclusively at professionals who are part of the entities, organisations and research groups that are members of i4KIDS.

i4KIDS covers the main travel expenses, including flights, accommodation and allowances. This activity is funded by AGAUR and the Departament de Recerca i Universitats de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

CogniTOT by Liltoda Selected as Winner of the i4KIDS-4RARE Neuroepilepsy Innovation Programme

The European project i4KIDS-4RARE has selected CogniTOT, a language-independent digital cognitive assessment tool developed by Liltoda Ltd, as the winning solution of its Neuroepilepsy Innovation Programme. Validated in more than 1,000 children across ten countries, the tool will now enter a pilot phase within the EpiCARE network to assess its potential for the early detection and monitoring of cognitive impairment in children living with rare epilepsies.

The i4KIDS Acceleration Programme 2026 kicks off with its training pathway for five selected projects

The i4KIDS Acceleration Programme 2026 has officially launched its new cohort, bringing together five high-potential projects that showcase the diversity and strength of paediatric innovation. From breakthrough therapies for rare diseases and childhood cancer to advanced medical technologies and digital solutions tailored for paediatric care, the selected initiatives address pressing unmet clinical needs. Through a structured training and mentoring pathway, the programme will support teams in advancing clinical validation, regulatory readiness, technology transfer and market access, with a strong focus on delivering sustainable solutions and tangible impact for children and families.
