  • Alfonso Oyarzábal : Researcher focused on brain metabolism and personalised therapies for paediatric neurological diseases at the Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu , and co-founder of Neuroprotect Life Sciences.
  • Bàrbara Baro Sastre : Researcher in infectious diseases at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and leader of the B-Triage project, a new POC test to improve the management of severe infections.

Moderated by Sofía Ferreira, Innovation Manager at the Sant Joan de Déu Children’s Hospital of Barcelona.

The programme combined institutional addresses, a discussion on child-focused investment, and the presentation of seven technological and biomedical projects selected for their high potential for impact.
